Sunnyside Cemetery
Alma, Allegany, New York
The Sunnyside Cemetery is on County Route 18, just off County Route 38 and is close to the
village of Alma. Its nearly forgotten name is established from a deed in Liber 133, p. 131, Allegany County Deeds.
It was given by Mrs. E. P. Watkins and husband to John
C. Gadsby for the Sunnyside Cemetery Association. It is for a part of
Lot 26 in the Lawrence Tract and describes the old cemetery and shows a change in lines. A map is
given, partially in color.
