Angeloah Shaw and Mary Delilah Sapney Shaw were married in Angelica, Allegany County, New York in 1842.  Angeloah was born somewhere in New York and Mary Delilah was born in 1825 in Angelica.  Her parents were Joseph and Elizabeth Ann Sapney.  Joseph reportedly was born in Italy and arrived in the US between 1810 and 1820.  Elizabeth was born Elizabeth Ann Lazenby in New York about 1800.  Angeloah and Mary eventually made their home in Keya Paha County, Nebraska where this picture was taken in the 1890s.
